i've been dead for 40 years
my new tank is setup and we dramatically rescued a betta named artemis who was abandoned in the freezer section at heb
i’m hoping he’s chill enough to get a few tetras and some shrimp in there with him but considering he spends all his time flaring and trying to kill his reflection maybe not lol
poor bels has a uti, he’s been on anti-biotics and prednisone for 4 days but i’m not seeing any improvement :( he is peeing so i’m not concerned about a blockage, but he only pees the tiniest bit like every other hour. he’s drinking and eating normally too. the vet told me if i didn’t see any improvement they’d keep him over night so they can test his urine which is probs gonna be so expensive
the fucked up thing is i have pet insurance for him but because he’s had utis before he’s not covered for them bc it’s a “pre-existing condition” l o l

honestly bryan fuller working on the upcoming vampire chronicles tv show is like, the one thing keeping me from sinking deeply into a major depressive episode atm
i know he’ll probably just work on one single perfect pilot and then fuck off to make and get fired from whatever other show he’ll make me fall in love with next but that’s fine honestly… i have an intake interview with a psych in february so hopefully by the time i am inevitably disappointed i’ll be on medication and no longer relying on the promise of media i might enjoy to get me out of bed everyday
